What is Black Iris?

Black Iris is a member-supported social club, co-working space, restaurant and bar, art gallery, and event venue in Richmond.

How do memberships work?

Choose the membership option that fits you, including individual, dual, and annual plans. The initiation fee is a one-time, non-refundable fee; recurring dues continue according to the plan you select. Visit the Co-Work & Social Club page to compare benefits and join.

Can I visit without a membership?

Some public events, ticketed programs, First Fridays, and private-event invitations may be open to non-members. Regular club access is for members and their eligible guests. Check each event listing for access details.

Can members bring guests?

Yes, subject to the club’s current guest policy and any event-specific restrictions. Members are responsible for their guests.

How do art shows work?

How do I submit art for consideration?

Is there a cigar lounge?
